Visitor Feedback:

Doro Kammer, from Naunheim, Germany

We particularly liked the German Bell museum since it is unique in that area. Besides a great 360 degree view there is a an old church, which was built there. The basement of the church is even older than the rest of the building (so this church has actually been built on an older church, which was there before.) There are also some catacombs, as well as some old towers that you can visit. It’s definitely a worthwhile family trip. Get a snack in their “Burgkeller” restaurant.

Where to stay during your visit:

We recommend staying at our Live Like a German vacation apartments in Wetzlar (distance is 25 km / 15 miles) or Waldgirmes (distance is 28 km / 16 miles.) From there Greifenstein is about 28 minutes driving distance.
