1) Rheintour Loreley to St. Goar

On this trip the ship will take you along the famous Loreley rock on the eastern bank of the Rhine near St. Goarshausen. It soars up to 120 meters above the water line and is also the narrowest part of the Rhine between Switzerland and the North Sea. Due to the very strong current in this area, many boat accidents have been caused here. There is an ancient story that goes along with this famous spot: ancient Rhine Maidens or Sirens lured ships into the rocks by singing their alluring songs to the seamen.

You will also see the castles Sterrenberg, Liebenstein, Maus, Rheinfels und Katz along the way.

This trip takes about 1.5 hrs.

Roundrip takes 2.5 hrs.

2) Castle Tour Boppard - St. Goar - Ruedesheim

The Pegasus will take you along the Rhine to see castles such as Sterrenberg, Lienbstein, Maus, Rheinfels, Katz, Schoenburg, Pfalz im Rhein, Gutenfels, Stahleck, Fürstenberg, Nollige, Heimburg, Sooneck etc. Food can be purchased on the ships restaurant.

There will be a 3 hour stay in Rüdesheim where you can visit the Niederwald Denkmal, Motorroller Museum, Asbach Uralt or take a tour through the cities old part.

We recommend staying at our Live Like a German vacation apartments in Wetzlar (distance is 97 km / 60 miles) or Waldgirmes (distance is 92 km / 57 miles.) From there the Rhine River is about 1 hour and 30 minutes driving distance.
