“Mini cars” are a very popular means of transportation in Germany. These are smaller sized cabs, and less expensive compared to regular cabs. Just call them and ask them to pick you up. Here is one in Wetzlar:

Using public transportation while you’re in Wetzlar


If you prefer to use public transportation instead  a rental car, Wetzlar has great public transportation options available (e.g., busses.)  Wetzlar also has a train station, so from there you can take a train and reach practically any destination within Germany. Trains are very economical and very efficient in Germany. At the train station in Wetzlar, you can explore Germany by train. Visit these two to get detailed schedules:
