Our Wetzlar travel guide highlights is the localized version of our larger Germany travel guide. It provides you with special trips, unique activities and travel ideas, which you can’t find in a typical travel guide, focusing on Wetzlar and its surrounding areas.

What makes this travel guide special?

My wife Bettina and I are both native Germans and lived in Germany for most of our lives. We actually grew up in this area, and therefore, we know the country and that particular area very well. We also obtain valuable travel insider tips from friends, property owners we work with, and readers who live in the Wetzlar area (or visited recently.) This results in unique and high quality travel guide content that we can share with you here (who else would know an area better than someone actually living there?)

We focus on activities that are fun to do with your family, such as sightseeing and cultural highlights, dining, entertainment, shopping, and sports. Sometimes these are small, but hidden gems, for example that Italian ice cream parlor in a small village, which sells the “world’s best ice cream”, and all the local people know about, but as a “regular” tourist in Germany you may not be able to discover it easily.
