Our three star, two-room vacation apartment for two to four, with inner courtyard, shower, toilet and kitchen is located in the Eckernförder Fischerstrasse 13, on the ground floor.

The bright two room-vacation apartment of about 40 sq.m is located on the ground floor. It features a living room with cable TV, dining area, sleeper sofa, and a door to the inner courtyard. The beautiful bedroom comes with nice bed linens. The kitchen is well equipped, including washing machine and dryer. Towels can be rented for a small fee. In August, the figs in the courtyard ripen, in September, the grapes on the houses’s wall ripen; our guests are welcome to try them both.

At the entrance to the vacation apartment Eckernförde of Atelier Bovensiepen in the old town of Eckernförde, rose bushes grow in summer; climbing roses adorn the entire house. A bench invites passers-by to rest for a little while and enjoy the view of the harbor.

ArtStudio Sabine Bovensiepen’s vacation apartment also features a beautiful bedroom with a comfortable bed and nice bed sheets. The kitchen contains a two hob-stove, radio, and all the essential equipment, up to washing machine and dryer. The shower stall/bathroom is very clean; towels can be rented for a small fee. The tastefully furnished apartment is adorned with works by artist Sabine Bovensiepen.

Baltic Sea resort Eckernförde (Eckernförde vacation rentals | Eckernförde travel guide) with its 25000 inhabitants offers an enticing combination of tradition and modernity. Harbor, old town and beach are only a few minutes from the vacation apartments.

The old town with its narrow streets and fisherman’s houses is an inviting place for relaxed walks.

Close by, you can find shopping opportunities, restaurants, a wine house, movie theater, ice cream parlor, greenmarket, banks and stores; Wednesdays and Saturdays, there is also a market.

Bike rental some 200 m away, seawater wave pool 300 m, sailing school, boat rental and diving school 100 m, surfing school 1 km, tennis 1.5 km, golf 3 km. Train station 800 m. Boat tours on the Baltic sea, with motor or sailing boats, and a new Baltic Sea info center.

The nearly 4 km long beach with fine sand offers sunbathers and swimmers ideal conditions.

The ragged coast also offers hiking trails from which the hiker has a great view of the bay of Eckernförde.

At the harbor, one can buy freshly caught fish; the summer months also see a host of events. Big fish market the first Sunday of the month.

In the old town, cozy restaurants offer affordable meals, but also fish specialties.

All four Eckernförde vacation apartments are ideal starting points for using the town’s many offerings.
