The apartment in the Kurt-Eisner-Strasse 11 in southern Leipzig has a floor area of 60 sq.m and is completely furnished. It has a bedroom (with 3 beds), large living room/kitchen (with one additional bed / sleeper sofa for two), large bathroom (with bathtub and shower stall), and one television set in the bedroom, another in the living room/kitchen.

The two-room apartments with kitchen and bathroom are rented out as fully furnished student’s rooms for cohabitation (making private rooms of 18-20 sq.m.) Telephone connectors (suitable for DSL lines) and TV cable (also suitable for DSL) are available in every of the private rooms. Electricity will normally be cared for by the inhabitants. The apartments are located in the South of Leipzig, only a short distance from the university, colleges, and the inner city (which can all be reached by bike, on foot, or by bus or tram). This area “Innerer Süden” is preferred by students. Both houses are mainly inhabited by students, both allow bike storage and use of the backyard.

The culture institutions such as theater, opera, “Gewandhaus” concert hall, cabaret, varieté, museum, cinema and zoo are all located inside the inner city ring road or close by, and can therefore be reached in the timeframes stated above. The zoo has been modernized and new attractions have been created, e.g. the African savannah, Pongo-Land (monkeys) and Tiger Taiga. It is truly worth seeing. Close by the house, but also within the Innenstadtring, there are discos. The Südvorstadt area of Leipzig (Leipzig vacation rentals | Leipzig travel guide), in which this vacation apartment is located, is one of the better known pub districts of Leipzig. The wild animal’s park is at a distance of 10 minutes by car or 15 minutes by tram, in the South of Leipzig. Close by the zoo is the natural history museum, which is also worth a visit. A large recreational area, the Cosputen lake with the amusement park BELANTIS is also in the southern part of Leipzig (about 20 minutes by car). In this area that was created out of former brown coal mines, the “Neuseenland” (New Lakes Land), many other spare time offers are also available. The Leipzig attractions in the surrounding area can all be reached by bike, which can be provided by us.

How to Get Here:

The Kurt-Eisner-Strasse is located about 500 m south of the Körnerstrasse. Coming from the South, you’ll best take A 38 exit Leipzig Süd. Driving towards Leipzig, take the exit Zentrum Süd (towards the right, this exit leads into the Kurt Eisner-Strasse). The Körnerstrasse is located at the beginning of the August-Bebel-Strasse, turning right (Kurt-Eisner-Str. left on August-Bebel-Strasse towards the center.

The Breite Strasse is located East of the center, continuing the Dresdner Str. (~1.5 km East from the Augustusplatz.
