The two-room apartment features a living room with TV and sleeper sofa, tasteful bedroom including nice linens, and a bathroom newly renovated in 2008. Towels can be rented for a small fee.

The view from the windows goes over the typical old town with its courtyards and roofs.

The kitchen is well-equipped with four hob-stove and baking oven. The dining corner is a comfortable place to eat.

The old town with its narrow streets and fisherman’s houses is an inviting place for relaxed walks.

Close by, you can find shopping opportunities, restaurants, a wine house, movie theater, ice cream parlor, greenmarket, banks and stores; Wednesdays and Saturdays, there is also a market.

Bike rental some 200 m away, seawater wave pool 300 m, sailing school, boat rental and diving school 100 m, surfing school 1 km, tennis 1.5 km, golf 3 km. Train station 800 m. Boat tours on the Baltic sea, with motor or sailing boats, and a new Baltic Sea info center.

The nearly 4 km long beach with fine sand offers sunbathers and swimmers ideal conditions.

The ragged coast also offers hiking trails from which the hiker has a great view of the bay of Eckernförde.

At the harbor, one can buy freshly caught fish; the summer months also see a host of events. Big fish market the first Sunday of the month.

In the old town, cozy restaurants offer affordable meals, but also fish specialties.
