Our vacation apartment Ammersee in Haus Angelika has room for up to 5 people. Its 70 sq.m are divided into one bedroom with double bed and an extra bed, a living room with double sofa bed, TV + WiFi on request and a kitchen, and a bathroom with floor heating and bathtub. The spacious south-facing terrace with lawn has garden furniture, barbecue and a children's playground. The apartment has a separate entrance and a private parking space.

Possible activities in the area: ice skating in winter when the lake is frozen, hot air ballooning, biking and Nordic walking at the lakefront or along the Ammer river in the nature reserve. And of course, walks in all directions.

Our apartment house Angelika is located in Upper Bavaria, directly between the Ammersee and Starnberger See lakes. Pähl (Pähl vacation rentals | Pähl travel guide) am Ammersee lies right between Starnberg (Starnberg vacation rentals | Starnberg travel guide) and Weilheim, about 45 km from Munich (Munich vacation rentals | Munich travel guide).

Pähl is not only the hometown of soccer player Thomas Mueller, rock star Peter Maffay also found his gastronomic challenge here. 10 minutes by car get you to Tutzing. From there, you can comfortably explore the entire area by local train, with no further need for a car. Munich is only a half hour away, or you can continue towards the south to Murnau (Murnau vacation rentals | Murnau travel guide), Kochel, Oberammergau (Oberammergau vacation rentals | Oberammergau travel guide), or Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Garmisch-Partenkirchen vacation rentals | Garmisch-Partenkirchen travel guide).

Our apartment house Haus Angelika is ideally situated in the village and offers hikers, bikers, horseback riders and golfers a relaxing holiday. A stone's throw from the golf courses of the Ammersee-Region, e.g. the beautifully situated golf club Hohenpähl, not far from the King Ludwig hiking trail and the many attractions and things to do in the Bavarian Five Lake District and the Pfaffenwinkel. The farm with all that makes for a life in the country is right next door. Potatoes, eggs and milk can be purchased direct. A corner shop is just a few minutes away. Weilheim, reached in 10 minutes by car, has all the usual big stores.

Swimming at the Ammersee is also only 10 minutes away by car, and easily reached by bicycle, too. On vacation in Pähl, you must not miss Andechs (Andechs vacation rentals | Andechs travel guide). A beautiful woodland walk of about 2 hours goes straight there. You also shouldn’t miss the Pähler gorge. The apartment house Angelika is a granny unit, idyllic and very quiet with garden and terrace, with a separate entrance and parking space.
