Location & How to Get Here:
The vacation apartment is located 8 km to the south of Erfurt, in an ideal starting point for excursions to Erfurt, Arnstadt, Weimar, Eisenach and into the Thuringian Forest. The next bus stop is only a five minutes’ walk away; the Wilrodaer Forst 10 minutes away offers pure forest nature. Reservoir lake Hohenfelden and open-air pools Möbisburg and Ichtershausen are places you can go swimming.
Getting here via Autobahn A4:
- Take exit Erfurt-West towards Erfurt,
- At the intersection with traffic lights about 500 m on, turn left towards Waltersleben.
- Drive through Waltersleben and turn right at the next intersection (~500 m), in the direction of Egstedt (after the turn, you will cross under the road bridge).
- About 2 more km of country road will get you to your destination.
Getting here from Erfurt:
- Take B4 in the direction of autobahn A4 (Frankfurt).
- Leave Erfurt on B4, via Arnstädter Strasse, towards the south.
- After about 3 km, you will see the restaurant/rest stop Hubertus on your left.
- About 500 m further on, turn left towards Stadtilm.
- About 2 more km of country road will get you to your destination.
In Egstedt:
- Coming from Waltersleben, take the first right; coming from Erfurt, continue straight on Hauptstrasse.
- Drive on Hauptstrasse to the pedestrian traffic light, turn left there (the restaurant Dorfkrug is on this intersection).
- Follow the road for about 200 m more.
- Where the road forks, take the right.
- 50 meters on, the vacation apartment is on the right side of the road (Zum Rinnebach 28)
