It consists of a large living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom & roof terrace. All rooms are exclusively furnished. Everything is tastefully decorated.
In the bedroom (DVD-TV), the bed can be separated into two. A baby cot or extra bed is available.
Terrace (for smoking) has garden chairs and barbecue in the summer. Bathroom and bedroom have air conditioning. The living room is also the dining area, next to the kitchen. The living room comes with 94LCD TV, DVD and music system. The couch has a hide-a-bed. Washing machine in the bathroom.

The apartment is very conveniently situated on the outskirts of Essen (100 m). All motorways are just a few minutes away. Downtown Essen is easily reached by car and bus. If desired, we can give you insider tips to plan your stay.
Although our house is situated in the countryside, all mountain monuments, such as the World Cultural Heritage Zollverein, are within easy reach. Water castles in Münsterland can also be reached by car in 30 minutes. There are bike trails right here, whence you can explore the whole Ruhr area.
Theaters, museums and many other cultural sites are quick nearby. One can be in the center of Essen on public transport in about 20 minutes and there is a direct bus to the Veltins-Arena (7km). With the bicycle, which we provide free, one can explore the Ruhr and bike to the Zollverein in a few minutes.

- The World Cultural Heritage Zollverein - formerly known as the "most beautiful colliery in the world" - today the best known industrial monument and center of the creative industries in the Ruhr area. 100 hectares in the north of Essen, Shaft XII, shaft Zollverein 1/2/8. In 1847 the first shaft was sunken, lifted the last coal in 1986, and the coking plant was shut down in 1993. Buildings and facilities have been officially listed since 2000. In 2001, the site was added to the World Heritage List of UNESCO. Diversity determines the supply. History, culture, creativity, events, catering, leisure --all the Zollverein offers its approximately 700,000 visitors a year.
