Our house is located quietly on the outskirts of Steinach. Families with children, couples and seniors will find the best conditions to spend a relaxing holiday. The house with parking located is on a natural property with protected sitting area and a grill. Children will find plenty of space to play and run. You can take walks directly from the house.

Steinach is only 7 km from the Rennsteig hiking trail in an idyllic valley and offers many opportunities for hiking and relaxing. We have compiled the most beautiful hiking destinations and tourist attractions in and around Steinach for you in a packet. For day trips we recommend the cities of Erfurt, Weimar, Coburg, Kronach. Visit the colorful Saalfeld Fairy Grottoes, the Toy Museum at Sonneberg or the glass museum in Lauscha.

Sports fans and tourists are welcome in Steinach to many possibilities: swimming, climbing, biking track, downhill and cross country ski trails provide a diverse program

The ski area has the "Silver Saddle" that helps make Steinach one of the most attractive ski resort towns in southern Thuringia. Slopes of different difficulties and a cross country ski area with 50 km of groomed trails are unique in our region.

During the summer the track is set up for bikers. In climbing, you can test your courage and jump off a ski jump. A thrilling ride on the bobsleigh track or on large tires, in summer as in winter the valley is great fun for young and old.
