Welcome to the perfect holiday accommodation for two to four people. In the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle and yet not far from Potsdam, the former residence of the Prussians, and the metropolis of Berlin.

The apartment is located separately on the ground floor and the rear part of the sprawling property in a quiet residential area in Stahnsdorf. Through the central corridor leads to the bedroom, the living room, kitchen and bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen has a direct exit to the terrace. On this you can relax after a busy day of leisure. Furthermore, there is a small garden shed, for storing bicycles you may have brought with, etc.

The bedroom is furnished with two single beds and a large wardrobe. The living room has a seating area with two couches and a table and a dining area for four people. Radio and TV (DVB-T) round out the room. Both sofas can be folded down into comfortable sleeping beds if needed. The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, stove, oven and small appliances, and a table and chairs. The living room and bedrooms have laminate flooring. All other rooms have a tiled surface.

Location:

Stahnsdorf (about 14,210 inhabitants) and Kleinmachnow (about 19,​​890 inhabitants) are located south of the border city of Berlin (Zehlendorf). With their proximity to Berlin and Potsdam, Stahnsdorf and Kleinmachnow are ideal as holiday locations. A variety of shops, supermarkets and restaurants leave nothing to be desired. The Southwest Cemetery in Stahnsdorf, with its park-like character, is perfect for a stroll. Not only famous people who have found their last rest there, but also the cemetery chapel in the style of Norwegian stave churches are worth a visit.

The Berlin center is about 20 minutes away by car or 25 minutes by train from the train station Teltow. The City between Kurfürstendamm and Alexanderplatz offers endless possibilities. Not only the Reichstag, Chancellery, Brandenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz are worth a walk. Berlin opens up from the water, in the so-called bridge tour, into new perspectives. Whether museums, theaters, concerts, exhibitions and variety shows- Berlin is always worth it.

Potsdam Center may be reached via the Nuthe expressway within 15 minutes. Potsdam is known not only for its castles and gardens, like Sanssouci, the New Garden with Cecilienhof and Park Babelsberg with the Flatow Tower. The city center of Potsdam also invites especially into the Dutch Quarter with its many cafes, restaurants, studios, and exclusive shops to stroll through. The Babelsberg Film Park with its stunt shows and exhibitions provide entertainment for the whole family.

Public Transportation:

Stahnsdorf is connected to Potsdam on the bus 601. The bus route runs past the churchyard and Stahnsdorfer Southwest Film Park Babelsberg Potsdam Central Station. Berlin is accessible over two Bus-/S-Bahn lines. You can take bus 601 to the S-Bahn station Teltow (terminal 25). With the 622 bus route you get to Berlin-Zehlendorf to the station Mexikoplatz, the S1 (direction Oranienburg). Both S-Bahns ride on Südkreuz and the Potsdamer Platz in the center. The respective bus departure locations are within 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

Kleinmachnow is on the bus line 623 connected to Potsdam and Berlin. You go to Potsdam to Waldschänke in Stahnsdorf transfer to the 601 bus route to Potsdam. The connection leads directly to Berlin S-Bahn station in Berlin-Zehlendorf S1 line. The bus stop is within sight of the house.

Directions:

From Hanover and Leipzig: via the A2 or A9 on the Berliner Ring A10 until the junction Nuthetal - Junction A115 direction Berlin until exit 6 Potsdam-Babelsberg Teltow - on the highway to Stahnsdorf city limits for about 3 km - after the Shell service station and straight into Linden street - second left in the Schulzenstrasse and first left onto Mühlenstraße (one way).

From Hamburg and Rostock: on the A24 to the Berliner Ring A10 until junction Oranienburg --Junction A111 toward Berlin via the A100 at the A115 Funkturm continue to Exit 5 Kleinmachnow - turn right here --right at the exit to the third traffic light on the Teltow canal to the entrance at the roundabout take the second exit Stahnsdorf - left at traffic lights - after the Shell service station and straight into Linden street - second Turn left into the Schulzenstrasse and first left into Mühlenstraße (one way).

From Stettin, Frankfurt / Oder, Dresden and Cottbus: on the A11, A12, A13 or A15 to A10 to Berlin Schönefeld Crossing - toward Potsdam until exit 14 Ludwigsfelde East --turn on the highway L40 --on the B101 towards Berlin to Potsdam to the exit at the roundabout second exit into the street to Ruhlsdorfer - Teltow first exit to the right place to Ruhlsdorf location --at the traffic lights to Stahnsdorf traffic lights - turn left into Linden street - second left in the street Schulz and first left onto mill street (one way).

Caution: Mühlenstraße is a one-way street between Schulzenstrasse and Ruhlsdorferstrasse toward Ruhlsdorferstrasse.

Due to construction work, the road between Güterfelde and Stahnsdorf is closed until further notice.
