The apartment is in the eastern part of the Hesse state, close to the city of Fulda and within the beautiful Rhön region. Spessart and Vogelsberg are also just a few miles drive away. Many attractions are within 5 miles.
Surroundings:
Eichenzell-Kerzell is found in a beautiful area between Rhön and Vogelsberg. The house is easily accessible by car via the A7 and A66/B40 and the Fulda ICE train station. Fulda is located 5 miles away and is also accessible by bus. By bike it takes only 20 minutes following the Fulda River to the old town. Fulda is a fascinating city because of its baroque cathedral and castle district with many attractions, such as the Michael Church, Frauenberg, Firehouse Museum, Children's Academy, and more. Also, there are only 2.5 miles to Schloss Fasanerie close to Eichenzell.
In the immediate vicinity there are marked hiking and biking trails (R1 and R3) that cut through the woods and meadows.
