The house has a total floor area of ​​160 m2 and is, due to the size, ideal for 6-10 people. The house is divided in the first floor into two sections, each with five beds and an associated bathroom / WC. The lounges and kitchen facilities are shared. Thus, the house is ideal for such as a holiday with two families.

Our premises are kept in different styles: from ancient to modern. The many restored antique furniture and cabinets, you can not only see, you live with them. If you want you can mix fuel for the stove itself. This timber will be provided free of charge. Of course there are also a 4-plate electric cooker with ceramic hob and oven, a microwave, as well as modern gas condensing technology for the environmentally friendly water heating and space heating are available.

Our 90 m2 garden with terrace, barbecue and play facilities invites you to cozy hours outdoors. The staircase goes into our play barn.

Our house is centrally located in the 1,500-"soul" village Hinterzarten in the Dreisam valley. In 2009-2010 the historic, Grade II listed house was partially rebuilt and refurbished. The house was evaluated in December 2010 by the German Tourism Association (DTV) and awarded 4 stars.

Your arrival is no problem with public transport. The nearest bus stop, from where you can go in all directions into the Black Forest, is just 50 meters away from the door. The nearest restaurant is only 30 m away and the beautiful tourist resort Kirchzarten air can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.

The prices include VAT, electricity, gas, water, bed linen, final cleaning, taxes, and the provision of towels and tea towels.

Arrival by Car:

From Freiburg i. Br or out on the B31 towards Donaueschingen you drive to the exit "Kirchzarten, Oberried, St. Peter, etc." right out.

If you came from Freiburg, now turn left towards Kirchzarten. If you came from the direction of Donaueschingen, turn right towards Kirchzarten.

You drive into a roundabout. Drive around toward Zarten Ortskern. You drive directly to another roundabout (in the plan is not included). At the roundabout turn right into St. Peter's Street. Now the next possible left turn. You are now in the Wittentalstrasse and go directly to the Dilgerhof, Wittentalstraße 9.

Location:

The Location offers an excellent, free and very easy access to the public transport network (see: www.konus-schwarzwald.info). The bus stop is just 50 meters outside the front door of our house.

Buses and trains run every half hour to Freiburg and the Black Forest.

The house is situated in the idyllic village Zarten in the Dreisam valley. Here is an ideal location: less than 10 km to the city center of Freiburg im Breisgau, about 20 km into the Black Forest (Titisee). Hiking trails start right outside the front door. The outstanding signs of forest paths leads you safely to your destination. The forest is located just 2 km from the Dilgerhof.

You want to see pure nature? Then we recommend using the special double-deck cars of the Deutsche Bahn for a trip to the Black Forest. The trains leave from Kirchzarten in both directions every half hour. Thanks to our KONUS Guest Card the ride is free for you. For every train there is a suitable shuttle in about 50 meters away from your front door. Upon your arrival at our house, you get the KONUS Guest Card, which allows the free use of all public transport in the Black Forest for your entire tour group. For more info see (www.konus-schwarzwald.info). After a 20-minute train ride away, for example, is Hinterzarten, where you can visit the ski-jump of Ski Adler. Or stay 10 minutes longer on the train and then take a pedalboat ride on the world-famous Titisee. Another station will bring you eventually to the foot of Mount Feldberg, the highest mountain in the Black Forest (1,497 m above sea level.) with numerous ski and hiking trails (www.feldberg-schwarzwald.de).
