The newly built house (2007) is directly above the spa gardens in Clausthal-Zellerfeld, a town in the southwestern part of the Harz mountains (Lower Saxony). Taking a few steps through an external staircase is all that is needed to access the apartment. Despite the quiet location near the forest and streams, several bakeries, a butcher, and the mailbox are all within walking distance in 2 to 5 minutes.

The house offers a mix of bright, modern, and traditional features that have awarded 5 stars by the German Tourism Association (DTV). The establishment enjoys a partnership with the Harz National Park.
