Room 2 is a spacious suite facing south. It has a living room and kitchenette, a bedroom with double bed, bath and foyer. All bathrooms have glass doors to the barrier-free showers.

Breakfast:

The morning starts by us with a great breakfast buffet. Would you like to fix your organic müsli with a mixture of dried fruits, cranberries, blueberries and cherries? We get the honey from beekeepers around the corner. The jams are from a farmer who harvests the fruit in his yard. The breakfast eggs we get from another farmer, who works only part-time basis, but just for the joy of this wonderful profession. After the opening of our hotel, he has gained a few extra chickens, so we always get fresh eggs. The chickens may also go outside, eat grass and scratch.

Organic yogurt and cottage cheese - with layer of cream cheese, as my grandmother did it - are also on offer. A selection of cheeses complement our offering. The sausage we get from the country butcher who specializes in producing sausage and ham only after the old home recipes, and they have sold at the weekly markets in Bremen.

Every morning we bake bread and cut a wide selection of fresh fruit salad.

Haus Niedersachsen

Located in the conservation-area on the southwestern slopes of the mountain Weyerberg is our complex on a 2.5-acre park property. The 300m access road winds up through the forest to 52m high Weyersberg. It opens up the landscape and you have a great panoramic view.

Plan time to let go, and sit down with a deck chair in our garden. Read a good book. Enjoy. In the natural garden you will find seating, chairs and a fireplace. In the evening you can watch the deer. All this is possible in the middle of Worpswede, only 1 km walk from the tourist center.

We have plenty of space. The spacious rooms and suites (separate living and sleeping areas) are all equipped with comfortable beds of upscale hotel quality for a restful night. The cozy living areas invite you to linger.

All over you'll come across Worpsweder art. The original images have been collected by three generations. Furniture and furnishings dating back to old world craftsmanship and have been lovingly maintained and restored. At the reception desk stands the counter from our restaurant. This bar was originally the counter at a bakery before 1925.

Prices

All prices include buffet breakfast, per room / night. The beds are made on arrival. Bed linen and towels are changed weekly, with final cleaning and additional costs included in the price.

• By train: to Bremen Hauptbahnhof, by bus to Worpswede, 670 line to stop Hinterm Berg, or with the train to Osterholz-Scharmbeck and then by taxi...
• By car: from the north over the A1 to exit Bockel, then over Nartum, Winkeldorf, Bülstedt, Wilstedt, Grasberg, then toward Lilienthal - Worphausen - Worpswede. From the south on the A27 over the Bremen crossing toward Bremerhaven until exit Bremen-Horn/Lehe, toward Lilienthal (use bypass), Worpswede. 500 meters after the city limits sign of Worpswede, left into Hinterm Berg, then the paved path Am Thiergarten. There's plenty of parking.
