Our country house was built 1896 and is in use as ApartHotel since 1989.

Since February 2008, you can relax from the trip here or whenever you’d like in our café – bar – restaurant filouu offering drinks and meals. The menu can also be found in the rooms. We wish you a fun stay in Berlin!

New! Since our renovation in the spring/summer 2010, all our rooms and apartments are non-smoking only!

The apartments are made to be used by self-catering guests, if they so desire. Send us your grocery list, and your fridge will already be filled upon your arrival.

Our breakfast buffet from 8 to 12 pm in the café filouu, for EUR 6.70 per person incl. coffee or tea and juices. From 12:00-4 p.m., we offer a lunch menu (changing daily) at a set price of EUR 4.90 – Bon appétit!

Nearby, you'll find bakers, shops, grocery stores, restaurants, banks, hairdressers, laundromats, pharmacies and doctors - everything you need.

It’s only 15-30 minutes to get to swimming pools, saunas, tennis courts, the golf course at the Wannsee or riding stables on the bank of the Teltow (Teltow vacation rentals | Teltow travel guide) canal or in the Steglitz city park close by. You can rent bikes from us.

A large selection is offered on the Schlossstrasse close by, with shops, boutiques and shopping centers such as the Schloss (castle), Forum Steglitz, or the Schlossstrassencenter which can be reached in 5-10 min on a trip that takes only 5-10 minutes by bus or S-Bahn.

Off-street parking, free of charge, enables you to leave your car behind and explore our city using the public transport system. Tickets (also) at the reception. Pick up from airport or train station can be arranged for a minimal fee.

We will gladly get the tickets for events, opera, theater, revue, varieté, or.. and, so, also take a look at our link bar. We will gladly get them for you.

Laundry Service: You can hand over laundry that needs cleaning in the morning, and we will deliver it back to you, cleaned, in the evening.

Location

Our Apartment-Hotel is located in the Steglitz / Lichterfelde-West district, which is in the south western part of Berlin (Berlin vacation rentals | Berlin travel guide). Adjacent districts are Dahlem (Dahlem vacation rentals | Dahlem travel guide) and Zehlendorf. In the immediate vicinity, you can find shops, stores and some doctor’s offices.

We are in a beautiful, green and quiet area of town, yet centrally located with great shopping available directly on Drakestrasse or nearby Schlossstrasse.

The buses X11, M11, 188, N 84 can be reached in 3 minutes by foot and the S-Bahn S-1 (Potsdam-Oranienburg ) in about 6-10 minutes. The station U-9 Rathaus Steglitz can be reached in 10 minutes. A plan for our famous transportation system, which takes you to such places as Alexander Platz, Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag, Ku-damm, Zoo, Europacenter, etc., is available at the reception.

The CityTourCard gives you 72 hours of free rides with the public transportation system Berlin and Potsdam (Potsdam vacation rentals | Potsdam travel guide). ( S-Bahn, U- Bahn, Buses, Tram and BVG Boats.) for 22,00 EUR
