The vacation apartment is one half of a duplex, with separate entrance and some 90 sq.m of floor space. It features a large living kitchen, a living room with tiled oven and a bathroom on the first floor, two spacious bedrooms and a guest toilet on the second floor. The attic and basement are also yours to use.

The apartment is fully furnished with high-quality equipment. It comes with its dedicated car parking spot. DSL connection with telephone flatrate for national calls is provided at no extra cost.

Recreational Offers:

Our farmstead offers lots of recreational opportunities for children and adults: playground with slide, swings, sandbox, a petting zoo with bunnies and guinea pigs. In case of bad weather, there is an indoors area with table tennis and table soccer, and with straw to play in. For the adults, there is a fitness room with exercise equipment.

Besides all the things you can do at our place, you can also reach beautiful hiking and horse riding trails in the Schneifelwald forest close by, reachable on foot. The firm sandy underground of the forest and field trails is ideal for horse’s hoofs. Each stay also includes a carriage ride of several hours length; maps of all the hiking trails are available, and we can provide bikes for tours with the whole family.

Farm Vacation in the Eiffel

The Haflinger horse Mantras, also called Mani, and our Shetland pony Charlie live on our farm.

You (or your kids) can learn how to handle a horse, clean it, and start horseriding with guidance on the meadow. Farther horseriding excursions are also possible, depending on experience.

After prior arrangement, we can also offer guided riding tours; for these, an additional horse can also be used.

Each stay also includes a carriage ride of several hours through the beautiful Schneifel forests.

You can also come spend your vacation with your own horse, stabling and fodder provided. The Snow Eiffel around the farm offers a multitude of forest trails which you can freely ride on.

Surroundings:

The Snow Eiffel is in the Western part of the Eiffel region, in the border area between Germany and Belgium. It is a quaint, heavily forested mountain area reaching its highest elevation at the approach to the Schwarzer Mann with 697.3 m. In the remote region, you’ll find a wild and beautiful landscape with rare plants and animals.

The region is great for extended hikes and riding tours in unspoilt landscape, enjoying a truly enchanted winter landscape in the snow-rich winters.
