Two-room vacation apartment on top floor, consisting of living room (with couch in front of TV, dining corner), bedroom (double bed with two separate mattresses, second TV), kitchen (with microwave and dishwasher), bathroom with shower/toilet, and balcony towards South and East.

On the top floor of the house, easily accessible via a staircase. The apartment, just like the entire house, has inviting, airy atmosphere and was lovingly furnished in country house-style.

Living room:

The entrance hallway leads right to the living room with couch, coffee table, cable TV and corner seating.

Balconies:

There are all of two balconies, both accessible from the living room, looking towards the South and the East.

Bedroom

One of the room reached from the living room is the bedroom which is nicely furnished and offers a double bed (with two mattresses, 160 x 200 cm). There is also a second TV here.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with a 4-hob ceramic stovetop with extractor, dishwashing machine, microwave with barbecue and baking function, fridge with freezer compartment, egg cooker, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, tableware.

Bathroom

Accessed from the hallway, offers shower, toilet, hairdryer, and coin-operated washing machine.

About the Strandhus:

Kühlungsborn, as well as the neighboring cities Heiligendamm and Bad Doberan, are characterized by their beautiful resort town-architecture of Gründerzeit and Art Nouveau. Lovingly restorated, it creates an atmosphere drawing many visitors, and not just in summer anymore.

In quiet location in the center of Kühlungsborn (in the Western part of it), surrounded by gardens, lies the Strandhus, which was newly built in 2007.

A nice lawn extends behind the house; a garage parking spot comes with every apartment.

Location:

Sea resort Kühlungsborn is located between Rostock and Wismar, directly on the Mecklenburg Bay. Modern construction meets historic architecture in this must-see town which is worth a visit in every season.

Small pubs with live music, cafés, restaurants and boutiques invite the guests to linger; the landscape is enchanting, and maybe even more so in fall and winter’s quiet.

The Cistercian cathedral of Doberan or the old Hansa cities Rostock and Wismar are worth a day trip; the small-gauge train Molli another experience to remember.

The mild climate and clean air and the green beech forest have a great effect on the visitor’s health – and fun and food are also close by. A small bakery offering affordable breakfast is only some 100 m from the house.

Additionally, you can book cosmetic treatments, massages, baths and ayurvedic treatments in a hotel just 900 m from our house, even on short notice.

Sights

Kühlungsborn

Traditional grand architecture and modern comfort can both be found in this town with a beach promenade that is more than 3 km long, connecting the east and west parts of it. From one end of the town to the other, the fine sand beach extends over 6 km. It is perfect for children, as the water only very gradually becomes deeper.

Kühlungsborn also offer enough fun and action, from beach parties and Open-Air cinema to many opportunities for sports. Gourmets will find restaurants that satisfy their demanding palate.

Rostock-Warnemünde

A jewel amongst the Baltic Sea towns, with lighthouse, beach promenade presenting a walk along a model of our solar system and ending at the Hotel Neptune, one of the former GDR’s best-known hotels.

Easily the highlight is the Alter Strom, a former part of the river Warnow and formerly the only access to the harbor. The salt doesn’t just taste of salt and wind, but also – no small thanks to the many boats – of adventure on the seas, while the quaint houses bring the visitor right back to the times of this former fishing village.

There are also the Hanse city Wismar, offering so many impressions, we highly recommend taking at least one whole day to explore all there is to see!
