The bright non-smoking vacation apartment has modern furnishings and is located quietly, with a few into the Ruwertal and with a large backyard.
Its floor space is about 60 sq.m. and it has its own separate entrance (without stairs). The apartment consists of a large living room with a nicely furnished kitchen and dining area, an additional sleeper sofa and a large bedroom with double bed.
Both rooms are equipped with TV and stereo and can be opened towards the garden (all at ground level) with their two large glass doors.
The spacious bathroom contains a double washing basin, a walk-in shower, bathtub and toilet.
Floor heating in all rooms. The vacation apartment is well-suited for allergics; pets are not allowed.
The apartment is furnished to be child-friendly, with children’s bed and high chair. There is also a small play area with sandbox and climbing frame in the backyard.

Trier is the oldest German city with many well-preserved Roman buildings, e.g. the Porta Nigra, emperor’s baths, amphitheater and other well-known UNESCO world heritage sites and additional sights.
One can quickly reach the rivers Mosel, Saar and Ruwer (Ruwer vacation rentals | Ruwer travel guide) which offer possibilities for boat tours, hikes and biking.
A visit to the near Luxembourg is also highly recommended.
Other sights worth a visit are the Naturpark (nature park) Saar-Hunsrück and the Eifel with its Maare.
Besides a rich cultural offer, the area also holds many opportunities for visiting wine farmer’s on Mosel, Saar and Ruwer and going for wine tastings.
The village itself contains three tennis courts and many hiking paths. A heated open-air pool and a large shopping center are only a few minutes of driving away.

From Köln/Koblenz:
At the AD Moseltal half-right on A602/E44 (Luxembourg/Trier), change right to L145 (Kenn/Trier-Ruwer) at AS Kenn and exit left past Trier-Ruwer on L149 (Kasel). Follow L149 to Waldrach (Waldrach vacation rentals | Waldrach travel guide), take the first exit towards Korlingen/Gutweiler in the roundabout at the end of the village, then turn left to Gutweiler. In the village, continue straight past the church, take the first possible right and another immediate right. Then straight into the cul-de-sac, first house on the right.
From Kaiserslautern (Kaiserslautern vacation rentals | Kaiserslautern travel guide):
At the AS Reinsfeld exit the autobahn towards Trier/Hermeskeil. Turn left after about 400 m and another left in the direction of Trier. Straight to the beginning of the Schnellstrasse to Trier, take exit Ruwertal and turn right towards Waldrach. At the entrance to the village, in the roundabout, take the third exit towards Korlingen/Gutweiler, then left to Gutweiler. In Gutweiler, straight past the church and then first right and another immediate right turn. Then straight into the cul-de-sac, first house on the right.
