Center Square

Vilseck is a town in the Oberpfalz region of northeastern Bavaria, Germany situated on the river Vils, a tributary of the Naab river. The town is geographically separate from a nearby large American military base known as the Rose Barracks but more commonly referred to as Vilseck. The base, built in 1937-1938, was captured during World War II from the Germans; it was previously known as Südlager.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber

Ramstein Air Base

Ramstein-Miesenbach is a municipality in the district of Kaiserslautern in Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. The beginning of Ramstein's modern industrial and business expansion began in the 1970s. The community had started developing a commercial area of about 0.66 km² south-west of Ramstein where several businesses settled. The immediate vicinity has now developed into an industry and commerce park with a size of 0.93 km², the Industriezentrum Westrich. North of the city center, along the rail line, a service center with artisan and trade businesses, the Stutzenwald business district, has emerged. The city is currently developing a new business district (In den Seufzen) on the road to Spesbach.

ADAC Deutschland Rally

Baumholder is a town and a municipality in the district of Birkenfeld, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is well-known as the location of the largest concentration of US combat soldiers outside the United. Landstuhl church

Landstuhl is a municipality of over 9,000 people in southwestern Germany. It is part of the district of Kaiserslautern, in the Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the north-western edge of the Palatinate forest, approx. 10 km west of Kaiserslautern. Prüm

Historic buildings in Miltenberg

Miltenberg is the seat of the like-named district in the Regierungsbezirk of Lower Franconia (Unterfranken) in Bavaria, Germany. It lies on the Main’s left bank on the left knee of the Mainviereck (main square) between the Spessart and Odenwald ranges. Since the Main riverbed in the Miltenberg area is relatively near the foot of the Odenwald, only a narrow strip of usable land is left, which in bygone centuries was time and again flooded by the Main. The Old Town, which stands on this land, sustained sometimes considerable damage in these floods. From about the beginning of the 20th century, after buying land from the neighboring community of Großheubach, Miltenberg has been spreading itself out over on the right bank.

Rathaus

Freiberg (i.e. free mountain) is a city in the Free State of Saxony, Germany, capital of the Mittelsachsen district. The city was founded in 1186, and has been a center of the mining industry in the Ore Mountains for centuries. A symbol of this history is the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg (famously known as the Mining Academy), established in 1765 and the oldest university of mining and metallurgy in the world. Burg Trifels

It is situated on the river Queich, 12 km west of Landau, and on the railway from Landau to Pirmasens. Essing is a municipality in the district of Kelheim in Bavaria in Germany. This town is ideally situated between rock and river in the Altmühltal and is over 1000 years old; today it is a varied holiday region thanks to it's many attractions. Sternenfels, consisting of the villages of Diefenbach and Sternenfels, is the most northern municipality in the Enz (district) in Baden-Württemberg in Germany. The town is located at the border of the Kraichgau and Stromberg regions. Sternenfels is considered a showcase village and was mentioned in several national and European studies and competitions. It is about 20 km from Pforzheim and close to the UNESCO world heritage site of Maulbronn.

Bad Orb

Bad Orb is a spa town in the Main-Kinzig district, in Hesse, Germany. It is situated 32km east of Hanau, and about 60km east of Frankfurt am Main. Bad Orb is between forested lush green hills in the Nature Park Spessart, one of the largest forested areas in Germany. The canyon-side donkey path that runs to Großheubach in Miltenberg Kreis passes Bad Orb. In the past, this trade route was used to transport salt to the Main River. The first salt deposits were discovered in 650 BC. Bad Orb is also home to the Frankfurter Schullandheim Wegscheide, a summer camp for children founded in 1920 on the grounds of the former army training camp, and the Spessart Clinic, a children's hospital founded in 1884.

Palace of Mainau

Mainau is an island in Lake Constance (on the south shore of the Überlinger See near the city of Konstanz, Baden-Württemberg, Germany). Lüneburg, also known as Lueneburg and Lunenburg in English, is a city in the German state of Lower Saxony. The city is located about 45 km (30 miles) — a thirty-minute train ride — southeast of fellow Hanseatic city Hamburg. It is part of the Hamburg Metropolitan Region, and one of Hamburg's inner suburbs. The capital of the district of Lüneburg, it has a population of around 72 000. The urban area, which includes the surrounding communities like Adendorf, Bardowick, and Reppenstedt, has a population of around 103 000. Lüneburg has been allowed to use the title "Hansestadt" (Hanseatic city) in its name since 2007, in recognition of its membership in the former Hanseatic League. The official name of the city is thus Hansestadt Lüneburg (Hanseatic City of Lüneburg); the city is also a Universitätsstadt (university city). As of December 2007, the city was the 120th largest in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Speyer

Speyer (English formerly Spires) is a city in Germany (Rhineland-Palatinate) with approx. 50,000 inhabitants, located beside the river Rhine. It lies 25 km south of Ludwigshafen and Mannheim. Its oldest known name was Civitas Nemetum, named by a Teutonic tribe, the Nemeter, settling in this area. Around the year 500 Spira appears as the town's name in scriptures.
