Aach is a municipality in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is part of Trier-Land, a Verbandsgemeinde.
Aach lies about 6 km north of the center of Trier. It is situated in the southern Eifel mountains. In earlier times, Aach relied on agriculture and industry, the stone (sandstone, limestone). Today Aach is connected to the economically strong city of Trier. A well-known product from the area is the Aacher Viez, derived from apples and pears.

Aach was first mentioned in 953 under the name Aquacuum. Although the village was close to Trier (Trier vacation rentals | Trier travel guide), it was not part of the Electorate of Trier, but was part of the empire as a rule the Trier Benedictine monastery of St. Irmin. In the late 1700s, Aach belonged to the French then later the Prussians. Since 1946, Aach belongs to the newly founded State of Rhineland-Palatinate.
