Bad Herrenalb is referred to as a gate in the northern Black forest. It is very easily accessible by car or Albtalbahn via Karlsruhe and offers the perfect scenic Black Forest Feeling. Because of its location as a crossroads of seven valleys it is surrounded by densely wooded hills that are a starting point for wonderful hikes. The center with the small pedestrian zone around the ruined monastery is very nice. Bad Herrenalb has great tradition as a health resort and also has a hot spring. From Herrenalb from you is with the car on a beautiful scenic route in less than half an hour in Baden-Baden.
