First off, there are no boats around Beilstein as the Neckar is 13 km away from the town. Otherwise, please take a look at the "Neckar-Fahrplan": http://neckarschiffahrt.de/stuttgart/ for further information.

More about the History of Beilstein

Beilstein dates back to around 800 AD. The rule of Reichsgrafen von Metternich expired in 1794 with the occupation by the French revolutionary army. In 1815, the city then fell under Prussia rule and in 1946 was transferred to Rhineland-Palatinate.
