Wilmersdorf is an inner city locality of Berlin, formerly a borough by itself but since Berlin's 2001 administrative reform a part of the new borough of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. In the north the Kurfürstendamm runs through the area.
Wilmersdorf is on the plateau of the Teltow (Teltow vacation rentals | Teltow travel guide) in the southwest of present-day Berlin. It is bordered in the north by the district of Charlottenburg, on the west by the districts Halensee and Schmargendorf, in the south to the district Steglitz-Zehlendorf district belonging Steglitz and east of the district of Tempelhof-Schöneberg's Ortsteile Friedenau (at the Rheingau district) and Schöneberg.
