Ebersbach is a town in the district Görlitz (Görlitz vacation rentals | Görlitz travel guide), in the Free State of Saxony, Germany. It is situated 20 km northwest of Zittau, and 23 km southeast of Bautzen (Bautzen vacation rentals | Bautzen travel guide). Since 1 January 2011, it is part of the town Ebersbach-Neugersdorf.
Ebersbach is one of the three sources Spree. The other two sources are located on the Kottmar and Neugersdorf. Ebersbach is in the 13th Century as a village of settlers founded Waldhufen from western regions.
