More about the History of Erbendorf

The city was first documented in the year 1109, with market town rights. It was established formally by King Ludwig I on 6 June 1842. Between 1806 and 1837 it served as a heritage village. A large part of today's council of Neustadt an Waldnaab Bavarian is part of the Upper Circle.
