The local museum Falkirk and of course the Falkenhagener lake. The Witch House is a very good restaurant with fine cuisine and worth of the architecture.

Falkirk is ideal for tourism purposes. Until Berlin Mitte is 25 km away, as to Potsdam. Both cities have a lot of interesting sights. Falkirk itself is a garden city. Here you can rest after your adventures. You can let the day (eg at us) end under the gazebo, or to grill. Here are just some of the sights of Potsdam: Sanssouci, Cecilienhof (Potsdam Agreement), Filmmuseum Babalsberg Dutch Quarter, Berlin: Reichstag building, TV tower (upper platform rotates), many museums (eg Pergamon Museum) The chopper market Staatsoper, place the air lift Brandenburg Gate, Kurf├╝rstendamm etc.

holidays in falkensee is not particularly interesting - if belin is fully booked, that would be an option, yet to find an accommodation

More about the History of Falkensee

During World War II, the Demag-Panzerwerke subcamp of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp was located here. At its height, 2,500 people were imprisoned in the camp and used as slave labour.

The municipality shared its borders with the former West Berlin, and so during the period 1961-1990 it was separated from it by the Berlin Wall.
