The Kuhfluchtwasserfälle (water falls) close to the eastern edge of town are an absolute must-see. The undisturbed peace and quiet in the village of 3500 inhabitants with church, restaurant, etc. has true Upper Bavarian flair. There are various hiking trails, our luxurious warmed outdoors pool, and various traditional and cultural events take place all through the course of the year.

1 Because Farchant is a contemplative, quiet village where folkloric local customs are still maintained, e.g. theater plays, forest festivals. Schuhplatteln etc. 2 you can go on gorgeous sprawling walks on long paths beneath and over the mountains without having to travel further. 3 You don’t have the hectic life of a city, but a village atmosphere pervades, away from main roads. 4 Nearby, there are major attractions such as the Zugspitze, castles, museums.
