Holiday Park, Germany
Holiday Park is an amusement park in Haßloch, Germany. It is one of Germany's most popular theme parks (receiving about a million visitors per year) and is part park and part woodland. Its Free Fall Tower was the first amusement ride of its kind in Europe. The Park also offers several roller coasters, including Expedition GeForce, a waterpark, and live shows.

More about the History of Hassloch
In 1621, the city was devastated in the Thirty Years' War by the Spanish. During the war in 1945, Haßloch becomes part of the French Allied Occupation Zone. Then in 1969, Landkreis Neustadt an der Weinstraße was split and Haßloch joined the new Landkreis Bad Dürkheim (Bad Dürkheim vacation rentals | Bad Dürkheim travel guide).

Haßloch is a municipality in the district of Bad Dürkheim, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated approximately 8 km east of Neustadt an der Weinstraße and 20 km south-west of Ludwigshafen. The village's origins go back the 5th century when Romans first settled.
