"Which guide, Walking Maps can be recommended for Ihringen and surroundings? Thank you so much!" (posted 01/10/2017)

Printed guides and maps I know not really. A generally good page about the emperor chair would be the site www.kaiserstuhl.eu. Perhaps it is there, see what.

Ihringen is one of the many beautiful wine villages of the Kaiserstuhl, which rises as a small mountain in the middle of the Upper Rhine Valley. The Kaiserstuhl is famous for its natural beauty, its rare flora and fauna and its excellent network of hiking trails. In addition, of course, for its good wines and good restaurants and its pretty little villages and towns. The wines grow here in Kaiserstuhl (especially Burgunderweine- white and red), he is one of the best wine growing regions in Germany and the gastronomy have settled here, simply because many people come here who appreciate good food and good wine. Now to your question: For the emperor chair (the small mountain is an extinct volcano and has a diameter of only 15-20 km) has its own hiking map, a cycling map and a guide, in which all Wanderewege are described in detail. Maps and walking guides are available here for a few euros in all tourist information offices. In addition, there are natural leader for those interested on specific topics, for example about the butterflies, orchids, birds, volcanic rocks and minerals, which can be found in the Kaiserstuhl.
