Kirchzarten is a very nice place in Dreisamtal 10 km from Freiburg. Alsace (France) and Switzerland are within easy reach. St.Peter's min in 20th to reach. In Kirchzarten or nearby, there are a number of good ways to eat. Every half hour train connection to Freiburg and the Black Forest (Hinterzarten / Titisee / Feldberg). Have fun there. "Ideas for 2-3 activities and daytrips?" (posted 05/04/2016)

The question was still "Feldberg area". It all depends of course on the weather. If should be hiked or can, then the Feldberg and all around the ideal area. When weather is nice view of the Swiss Alps and the Vosges (Franklreich). If the weather is less good, there are water parks (Titisee) and much more. would at best, if the interested party goes to the Internet, as it all depends very much on the personal interests.
