We took the boat the whole way to the end of the lake and then walked to the Obersee. An easy walk, beautiful and quiet (well, in April it was).

Yes, I have listened to the echo of the trumpet playing on the Königssee. One of the most beautiful places I have seen.

The Königssee itself is amazingly clear and beautiful! They don't allow gas boats on the lake so there is no pollution in the lake. Also a short hike from St. Bartholomä is the ice chapel. It's very majestic!
