"Hello! We are hoping to visit the Licher Brewery. Do we need to make appointment or can we just come to the brewery? What times are the tours on weekends? Thank you so much!" (posted 11/13/2014)

Hello! The Lich brewery offers the possibility of a visit by appointment only. On the homepage www.licher.de you can log on. A engl. site there is not apparently. It is a Telef. no. and a name angegeben.Es is a link to the group "Bitburger" of some in English. Lists language. The Gift shop is always on. I have been several times in the brewery. There is a small regional brewery, which is very clear. The private owners have, however, given up few years ago and sold the company to a group. Incidentally Lich is a lovely little town with a remarkable center with half-timbered houses, etc. In any case, even without worth a stop brewery visit. Nearby is the castle coin, which is worth seeing. Here are the opening times are converted to "winter". Many greetings also Butzbach - Wolfgang von foreman
