"Is it possible to walk through Murrhardt from the train station or do we need to rent a car?" (posted 05/24/2014)

Murrhardt is a small town with 14000 inhabitants. From the railway station, one only needs 5 to 10 minutes on foot to walk through the inner city. Murrhardt is located in the valley of the Murr, built onto the slopes. In the city, from the railway station to the edge of town, there is an altitude difference of 200 m. Additionally, there are 29 settlements outside of the core of the city that also belong to it. So, which means of transport you take depends on the exact address you need to get to. Possibilities include city busses, taxis from Murrhardt railway station or rental cars from Backnang or Stuttgart.
