Hello, yes, Oberharmersbach is located in the middle of the Black Forest, and therefore it is an ideal starting point for excursions and day trips eg to the All Saints Waterfalls in Oppenau, the newly opened National Park Black Forest, city trips to Strasbourg or Freiburg, the Feldberg, or along the Black Forest clock road to Titisee. We would also gladly be your hosts for an absolutely unforgettable holiday. Sincerely, Monika Schnaiter

Hi, this is nice to hear that you enjoyed it so well in the Kinzig valley. Yes, the summer months are often very warm and pleasant. We have been of "live-like-a-German" written because we have an apartment in Wolfach, which is about 30 min. away from Oberharmersbach. (Www.ferienwohnung-rebberg.de) Wolfach has a small castle and a beautiful old town. A Flössermusseum and the typical Foxbauernhöfe with thatched roofs are not far from here. Places of interest in the area: Mineralienhalde (see also the festival crystals), Bear Park, Clock Museum Schramberg and many other attractions. Greetings from Wolfach
