"I'm planning a trip to Germany and I want to know where the best place would to go for food and lodging in Pffelbach. I would like to know if you can tour the Lichtenberg castle." (posted 10/13/2014)

It is directly at the castle, in Thallichtenberg, in Körborn, Kusel and Blauenbach good restaurants. Is possible to stay for. Example, here in blue creek. Up to the castle is 5 km until after Pfeffelbach 8 Km. Greeting Ingeborg Pfeiffer

Since I myself have lived some years in Pfeffelbach, I can tell you with certainty that there is still for sale in the town itself (very small) neither shelter, food. The nearest supermarket, there are about 7 miles away or in Freisen, a large village in the neighboring Saarland (8 km) in the district town of Kusel. In these places you can also find hotels, inns, restaurants and apartments. The Lichtenberg Castle can be reached Pfeffelbach in about 8 km. There you have the possibility to stay in a hostel and there is a very good restaurant (upper middle class). www.burglichtenberg.de/ http://www.diejugendherbergen.de/jugendherbergen/thallichtenberg/portrait/

Hello, Pfeffelbach is a very small place in a beautiful landscape. Near the village of Thal Pfeffelbach Lichtenberg is located with the famous castle ruins Lichtenberg. The castle dates from the 12th century, there is a youth Mr. mountains, a museum dedicated to the musical tradition of the environment, an environmental museum and a restaurant. Hello, Pfeffelbach is a small village with 940 inhabitants, belongs to the district of Kusel, Kusel is the closest major city. From us here it is until after Pfeffelbach 10 km and to the castle Lichtenberg in Thallichtenberg 13.5 km. Hotels or other accommodation, there are to my knowledge in Pfeffelbach no, only a small grocery store. The castle itself is still a restaurant and a hostel. Shopping and accommodation options there are in Kusel, or in St. Wendel, from our point of about 10 kilometers (St. Wendel) 14 km (Kusel) Greetings from here Gerhard Diehl
