Sorry that my answer comes so late, but I was on holiday myself. To answer your question: Yes, there is a regular bus service between Hofgeismar and Bad Karlshafen; Trendelburg is on the route. The nearest train station is Hofgeismar-Hümme, about 4 km away. The nearest train station with ICE connection (ICE = high speed train) is Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe, about 36 km away, with regional train to Hofgeismar-Hümme.

Hello Mrs. force, I know, unfortunately, no one in Trendelburg, just know that is the town in the Reinhard Forest, about 15 km from Hofgeismar. It is a medieval castle from the 13th century. It offered there Knightly carousing. The tower of the castle is associated with the fairy tale Rapunzel, who is said to have let down from the high tower her long braid. I was once in Hofgeismar even very long ago. More I can not say unfortunately. Sincerely, Ortrud Sieck (the mails coming in and Sieck's never at Blumenberg on)
