Ulmet is about 15 miles away near Baumholder, Idar-Oberstein. Other cities that can be visited are Kaiserslautern, Saarbrücken, Mainz, Trier.

Ulmet Overview

Ulmet is a municipality in the district of Kusel, in Rhineland-Palatinate, western Germany.

The eight kilometer long Gewässerlehrpfad runs from Ulmet to Erdesbach. The village council is composed of twelve members, the current majority having been elected in 2004.

The famous parish church, having borne the name Flurskapelle ('Field Chapel') for centuries, dates back to the year 1091.
