Enjoy Wild Days and Nights in Germany's Captial

The day drive was actually a lot better than I had initially expected. We decided that we would drive quite hard and push the to its limits in order to save a day driving and just make it there in one day. On the autobahns between Luxemburg and Berlin (Berlin vacation rentals | Berlin travel guide) we managed to get the LDV to a good average speed of about 110, however on the final stretch where it was very flat we managed 130 most of the way. We made it to Berlin in the early evening and camped on a road just inside the umweltzone. On Wednesday we caught a ubahn into the city in order to scout out internet cafe's to find hostels but were surprised to find one right next to the station. It was only 117 Euros for the four of us for 3 nights. And an extra 15 euro allowed us to even park the LDV right outside the front step. On the way back to retrieve the van from outside the city it even started to snow. The snow continued as we re—entered the city centre, much to our delight.
The hostel was a good chance to get away from the routine of the van. It allowed us to wash our clothing and use internet. The internet turned out to be so good here we even downloaded hundreds of songs and a few movies to keep us going. The rest of the day was just spent lazing about the hostel and not doing much until just after dinner when we ventured out to join a pub crawl. Costing 12 Euros the crawl went through 6 different pubs and clubs from between 8:30 and the early morning. At each venue we also received free shots and varying discounts on drinks. It was a good chance to meet some new people from different places. Some of them were Chaz, a 21 year old from the Gold Coast who turned out to be a complete spook and try on his sleeze with every girl. There were two Isralies who were on 10 day leave from the army, two Columbians, one of which looked exactly like Anthony Minachello. There were also a couple of girls from Sweden. The only problem with the tour was the guide, who had quite an irritating voice, and seemed to treat us like children. She could have easily been a primary school teacher.
