Sergengeti Park - Get a Glimpse of African Wildlife in Germany

The Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen offers its visitors the unique chance to get a true sense of African wildlife without actually visiting the Dark Continent. It consists of four adventure lands — animal world, water world, monkey world and leisure world — where you can watch hundreds of exotic animals in their natural habitat. You just buy your ticket at the entrance and either hop on a bus or even stay in your own car and start your very own wildlife adventure.
The animal world can only be explored either by joining a guided bus tour or with your own car. Just a couple hundred feet behind the park entrance you will feel like you left the European continent. The animal world is divided into an African, American and Australian sector, populated with more than 1500 free roaming animals. But be aware, visiting the Serengeti Park provides you with a true safari experience. There are no barriers between the road and the elephants, giraffes, camels, black bears, tigers and other exotic species living in the animal world so nobody can predict exactly how exciting your little adventure will be.
In the water world it is all about the wet element. By walking across a free—swinging suspension bridge, joining the Water Log Ride or paddling yourself in your own little boat, you can explore the water world and the countless animals living there. Additionally, here the village Kingo
is located. Visiting this little town gives you an idea of how living in the African steppe would be like.
The monkey world consists of about 200 monkeys of 20 species, like chimpanzees, long—tailed monkeys and even gorillas. Here is also the restaurant Zanzibar, where you can get a bite to eat and have the chance to relax for a while.
The leisure world is comparable to a traditional fun park and awaits you with more than 40 rides. There are various roundabouts for all ages, roller coasters, a Ferris wheel and a playground for toddlers.
