Skiing Jenner-Königsee
Categories: Family and Kids, Sports
A spectacular alpine experience, the Königsee (Königsee vacation rentals | Königsee travel guide) area of Germany is among the finest in the country. The Königssee is a glacier lake formed by the last ice age and located in the extreme southeast of the German State of Bavaria (Bayern), near the German-Austrian Border. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, the Jenner-Königssee offers supreme skiing for any proficiency.
Skiing fit for a king. If you're a more experienced, you'll find the Jenner a special experience. The Jenner's slopes have long been highly recommended among ski- and snowboard enthusiasts. Good levels of snow are virtually guaranteed between mid-December and spring thanks to state-of-the art snow-making equipment and our new ski-rental depot offers all the latest ski- and snowboarding equipment at reasonable prices.
A note of caution: The Jenner is not for every one. Why? Because there is simply no real bunny hill for the beginner. Its a mountain that will make a good skier remember how to set an edge or it will put you down. The mountain as any local will tell you is an intermediate to expert ski mountain. Any one that thinks differently will be carried off by the Bergwacht.
With the biggest and most varied of five local ski runs, why not turn your skiing-trip into an adventure-holiday set against the stunning natural backdrop of Berchtesgaden's premier mountain!
