Categories: Family and Kids, Sightseeing, Cultural and History
Teltow's Museum of Local History has been housed since 1994 in the town's oldest building, a designated historic landmark dating back to 1711. The museum collection features a scale model of Teltow (Teltow vacation rentals | Teltow travel guide) as it appeared in 1890; old maps, drawings, and photographs; and reproductions of an old kitchen, a living room, a woodworking shop, and a metal manufacturing plant. The museum tracks the development of this agricultural community from 1265 to the present, depicting a vivid picture of daily life. Additional exhibits are displayed in the museum's attic and garden.
