The trip to the Zugspitze using a train of about 1.5 hours from Munich (Munich vacation rentals | Munich travel guide), to a beautiful small town in the valley of the Alps, Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Visitors should decide one of several options offered route. Winter rates are only valid from October until mid-May. After months of May through the next winter, summer rates, which is approximately 25% more expensive than the winter fare.
