Schloss Thurn is so much more than just an amusement park. The park is located in the vast garden of a Baroque summer residence, which was built by a Bavarian nobleman in 1773. Schloss Thurn’s attractions do not only include the usual fun rides and live shows but the premises are populated with hundreds of animals strolling around through beautiful countryside.

Like in any other amusement park there are many fun and exciting rides for all ages. There are mind—blowing roller coasters, old—fashioned railroads that drive you through scenic deer parks, bumper cars, quaint merry—go—rounds, bouncing castles for toddlers and so much more. Additionally, Schloss Thurn is a nature reserve where you can watch various animals, like horses, goats and rare birds in their natural habitat. The owners are especially proud of their more than 250 bats that live in the attic of the residence. Another particularity is the many dignified mature trees in the park, like a 400—year—old oak.

Furthermore Schloss Thurn is famous for its live shows. Watching these spectacles, like their exciting and fast—paced Wild West show or the historically informed medieval tournaments, makes you feel like you stepped into a time machine.

This one—of—a—kind mixture of fun, nature and history makes a visit to Schloss Thurn a unique experience for the whole family.
