Besides some excellent rooftop bars, Berlin offers many high floor and covered rooftop restaurants with scenic views just in case you are visiting the capital during winter or bad weather.
A popular and unique rooftop restaurant in Berlin is located next to the dome atop the German Bundestag (parliament). To access the restaurant you have to pass security and have to provide personal information in advance and bring your passport to gain access at the security checkpoint.
The effort is worth it since you will be rewarded with a scenic view over Berlin’s skyline and Spree River. Thanks to floor to ceiling windows you can enjoy the panorama all year long. If you are looking for a trendy restaurant and bar in Berlin the Solar is the right place for you. The Berlin rooftop restaurant and bar with a view is located on the 13th floor of a former CIA lookout point and impresses with a modern German cuisine. Another VIP view awaits you in the Humboldt-Box at the “Schlossplatz” in Berlin.
