With its minimalist décor, fantastic city views and DJs from around the world, Weekend draws in plenty of fashionable patrons including tourists. The club operates on the 12th and 15th floors, surrounded by windows, as well the rooftop terrace of the Haus Des Reisens building. There you can party until the wee hours of the morning, and catch a glimpse of glorious Berlin (Berlin vacation rentals | Berlin travel guide) at dawn. Alexanderplatz 5, 10178 Berlin.

Solar is a stylish, glass-enclosed lounge bar high up in the sky, accessible by a glass lift. The view of the city going up is amazing, but even better views await you in the bar itself. Part of the allure of Berlin’s colourful clubs and bars is the city’s lively music scene, with a slew of avant-garde artists constantly pushing the envelope. Like the residents of Berlin, its musicians are an eclectic and diverse bunch, and the music they create range from techno, jazz and reggae to rock, rap and folk. Since 2010, the city has organized Berlin Music Week, a music festival held in September that embraces all types of musical genres and exposes fans to all of them. The 2010 line up included Fatboy Slim, Robyn and Berlin-based performance artist Peaches.
