In only a few months boot, a festival of international yachting and watersports, will be celebrated for the 43rd time in Dusseldorf, the capital of Northrhine—Westphalia. boot Dusseldorf takes place between 10am and 6pm from the 21st until the 29th of January in 2012.

boot Dusseldorf is the world’s biggest yacht and watersports show, which usually attracts a couple hundred thousand visitors from over 60 countries every year. More than 1500 exhibitors from around the globe come together to showcase their latest watersports gear, boat equipment and accessories and, of course not to forget, their state—of—the—art boats and yachts themselves.

According to Jürgen Tracht, Managing Director of the German Marine Federation, boot Dusseldorf is considered as the economic locomotive of the international yacht and watersports industry. Every major company is happy to exhibit their latest motor boats, sailing boats, yachts and everything else needed in the world of watersports at this trade show, because boot Dusseldorf is traditionally know for its many wealthy, free—spending and knowledgeable visitors. More than 1700 boat types of all sizes are on view there and ready to be bought.

However, this trade show is not only aimed at customers, who are able and willing to spend millions of dollars. boot Dusseldorf consists of various adventure and theme worlds, like the Diving Center, Fishing Center or Vacation Worlds. Visitors of all ages are welcome to try out all kinds of watersports, like wakeboarding, skimboarding or stand-up paddling, on site, which makes this festival also very popular with young people and families.

All in all, boot Dusseldorf is simply the place to be, if you are a watersports and yachting enthusiast and want to get informed about the industry’s latest products. For everybody else, visiting this trade show basically guarantees you an unusual day of fun and adventure.
