Munich's Oktoberfest - Join One of the World's Greatest Parties

Oh, the memories of Munich Oktoberfest parties! Two days ago we decided to stay in a place called Fussen, which is in the deep south of Germany. We decided to stay at this large town as it is close to a couple of famous castles, including Neuschwanstein, where King Ludwig lived. Yesterday morning we drove to the caslte and took a few photos before deciding to head off for Munich (Munich vacation rentals | Munich travel guide) and the Oktoberfest. Upon arriving we tried to check ourselves into a campground called Thalkirchen which is fairly famous among locals and tourists alike. This camp—ground was full so we continued onwards and eventually got to another place full of Aussies and Kiwis. At this point we realised we were probably the youngest people to take the journey around Europe. The Caravan Park was nuts that night with heavily intoxicated people and objects such as chairs and tables being thrown around, this was an experience itself. After judging the situation we decided not to go to the Oktoberfest today as all the Italians were going, so it would be really busy. After all about 2/3 of our whole campsite is filled with large Italian campers. Today we decided then to do our washing and find our bearings in Munich. Last night we went out with Max and went to the famous Hofbrauhouse and then to the Chinese Gardens were many a beers were consumed. Munich seemed to be completely taken over by Oktoberfest parties! It was a funny experience running through Munchen, quite drunk, with 4 friends, meeting random people along the way. This morning Peter nearly vomited a couple of times, before finally managing one in the train station.
Tonight we went to the Hofbrauhouse again for another couple of beers, and actually found our way back to the campsite properly. We are planning to go to the actual Oktoberfest on Monday when it isn't as busy.
