The Seedammbad in Bad Homburg is definitely something to consider if you are traveling with kids in Germany. Conveniently located in the beautiful city of Bad Homburg (Homburg vacation rentals | Homburg travel guide) and only 30 minutes from Wetzlar (Wetzlar vacation rentals | Wetzlar travel guide), it offers lots of fun activities for the entire family.

Besides the typical swimming pool areas (both swimmer and non-swimmer pools), the Seemdammbad in Bad Homburg offers a 70-meter long mega water slide, a current pool where the water pushes you in one direction (they offer fitness programs), a water carousel, and rough water atmosphere in the Brodel Bucht.

In addition, you can relax in their whirlpools and the famous Kneipp Becken as well as the solariums, saunas and steamrooms.

From May to September, the Seedammbad in Bad Homburg opens its roofs so the warm summer air can come in. They also offer a nude area, which is kept private from the public areas.

After a long day of water fun, the Walfisch (Whale Fish) Restaurant in Bad Homburg invites you for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are open daily as well as the Cafeteria which offers snacks coffee, drinks and other refreshments.
